Aug 30 2010: iRR Team makes final preparations for Pro race debut with SCCA Pro racing (see schedule), Other series

attending this venue will be World Challenge GT/TC, Trans-Am, Jetta TDI celebrity Cup. Event dates Sept 10-12 2010.

Aug 22 2010: iRR team ralley's back into the top three driver standings and championship contention with a

3rd place finish on Saturday and a 5th place finish on Sunday after spinning on entry to turn 3 in oil from a blown

engine from another car car shortly before his arrival, 8 cars were collected in all. Big Joe was able to get back

ontrack and fall in behind the pace car under double yellow conditions and the grid locked, loosing 2 positions

at that time, the race ended under double yellow.

July 24 2010: iRR Team suffers engine failure in round 5, races 9 and 10 with failed water pump and subsequent

burned valve. Team principle Big Joe " we still have a shot at the championship and will be back for the next

event, ready to battle".

July 5 2010: Mid-Atlantic 944 Racers Make LeMonade, with a Side Order of Cup, 24 Hour of LeMons results

June 22 2010: iRR team slips back to second place in 944 Cup Championship point standing after handling issues

with car in Sunday race during Hyperfest. " One poor finish this season out of 8 races so far isnt the end of the world,

but will make things more challenging. The bigger issue is the handling in extreme hot weather, 115+ degree track temps",

April 22 2010: Big Joe and the iRR Team retain championship points lead thru races 5 and 6. The event was held

April 17th and 18th at Summit Point on the main 2.4mi circuit. With a 4th place finish on Saturday and a 3rd place

podium finish on Sunday the iRR team increases the overall points lead from 2 to 6 points.

April 21 2010: IDS Racing and itROX Racing begin build on the Porsche 944 24 hours of Lemons race car. The event

will be held June 19th and 20th at Summit Point raceway on the Shenandoah circuit. A link will be added at the top

of page with progress and prep photos, stay tuned.

April 1 2010: Pledge registration is now open for the annual "laps for life" charity race to be held June 19th.

March 31 2010: Big Joe's #08 and the iRR Team move into 1st place in the 2010 Mid Atlantic 944 Cup point

standings after 4 races completed. http://www.44cup.com/mac-standings. Big Joe said, "again solid

runs both days, consistancy is so important. There is a long way to go still in the season but so far so good.

Being on point (1st place) does add a dimension, like how to stay there :) ".

March 30 2010: iRR Team has a solid 4th place finish in the Saturday race with dry and sunny conditions.

iRR Team also finished 4th in the Sunday race after a qualifying mis-que put the team 9th on the starting

grid, conditions were overcast and raining medium to heavy the entire 40 min race.

Feb 22 2010: iRR Team finishes 3rd at VIR full course (3.2mi) and 3rd at VIR North Course (2.4mi). With 2 podium

finishes now in the books, iRR Team has turned its focus on the next event in March. Team owner/driver

"Big Joe" said, "were off to a good start, but there's still work to do, every year the bar is raised".

Feb 2 2010: iRR Team makes final preparations for 2010 season opener at legendary Virginia International Raceway.

Round 1 of the 7 round 944 Cup Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship begins 2/19/2010.
